How do you bill your servers?
Our VPS servers have both a monthly price cap and an hourly rate. Your bill will never exceed the monthly price cap. If you delete your VPS before the end of the billing month, you will only be charged for the hourly usage. We bill for each server until you choose to delete it, even if you aren't actively using it.
Do you bill servers that are powered off?
Yes. All servers that have completed their creation process will be billed until deleted, regardless of their power state. This is because we allocate full resources to servers regardless of their power state, enabling rapid startup and boot times for our customers.
How reliable is the storage for VPS servers?
Our VPS servers use local RAID10 storage on the host system, providing excellent fault-tolerance against hardware defects. The storage is optimized for high I/O performance and low latency, making it perfect for applications that require fast disk access with minimal latency, such as databases.
Can I install Windows on my VPS?
While our primary focus is on Linux operating systems, you may install Windows on your own. However, please note that we do not provide official support for Windows installations. We offer a wide selection of Linux distributions including Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, and many more.
What are the HOKOHOST Cloud Volumes?
Volumes are our fast, flexible, and cost-effective SSD-based block storage solution that you can attach to your HOKOHOST Cloud Servers. They provide additional storage that can be expanded up to 10TB at any time and can be moved between servers as needed.
How many VPS servers can I create?
Each customer has a default limit for the number of cloud resources we simultaneously provide. If you need to increase your limit, contact our support team via the customer portal. After a quick review, we'll be happy to increase your limit to meet your needs.
